The Charleston Naval Weapons Station chose Landmark Construction as its site work, utilities, and concrete contractor for the addition of seven rail lines, a concrete staging platform and incidental related work at its Rail Yard.
Significant site work was required, including demolition, grading, excavation, cement soil stabilization, and aggregate base course. Several utility lines were relocated which included a high-voltage electrical service. New high-mast lighting was installed with deep foundations (concrete piles). Water and storm drainage work were also provided.
