Landmark Construction uses state-of-the-art GPS & 3D Modeling Technology during each project. Our Project Superintendents and Foremen are experienced in their use and implementation. By using this technology we are able to reduce costs, accelerate project schedules, improve accuracy, and deliver a higher quality project for our clients.
- GPS guided equipment (dozers, excavators, motor graders)
- Drone program with licensed and insured pilots
- All our site grading and vertical construction teams use 3D models for every aspect of construction, from reviews, planning, and build. This information is also used in overall BIM models when needed by the client. The software programs being used are (all can create in *.IFC file)
- Trimble Business Center (TBC)
- Tekla
- Sketchup
GPS
Landmark currently has over 60 devices (3D) operating in the field today that are managed by a highly-skilled technical team. We are currently moving data to and from the field several times a day across multiple projects real-time. This data flow allows Landmark to manage project revisions very quickly and to pass critical information back to the engineering team real-time when needed.
Drone
The drone program is used widely throughout Landmark and clients to visually see the day-to-day construction progress and is extensively used to track production. All sites are flown weekly and some more active sites twice a week.
Software
The models that Landmark develops are loaded onto various field devices that allow the field supervision and crews to see the construction prior to the actual build which has greatly improved planning, scheduling, construction techniques, layout, and more.
