Charleston, SC — Chris Varnadore has been promoted to Director of Equipment & Shop Operations. Since joining Landmark in 2016, Chris has demonstrated unwavering dedication to excellence, leading key initiatives in equipment management, shop logistics, and preventative maintenance that have significantly advanced the company's operations.

Under Chris's leadership, the Equipment and Shop Operations team has achieved remarkable milestones. This past year, they maintained a ZERO injury safety culture, revolutionized safety protocols within the shop and yard, and completed a 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) project with an additional focus on Safety. These achievements reflect his commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and prioritizing safety across all operations.

Chris and his team have also played a critical role in expanding Landmark's operational footprint into Columbia through Project Connect, demonstrating their ability to build trusted industry relationships rooted in respect and collaboration.
