Landmark Announces Promotion of Mark Mitchum to Site Work Division Manager

Charleston, SC – August 13, 2024 – Landmark is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Mitchum to the position of Site Work Division Manager.

Mark, of Summerville, SC, began working in the construction industry over 30 years ago with his grandfather while still in high school. Mark was hired by Landmark as a superintendent in 2008. He was promoted to Senior Superintendent, then to Utilities Manager.  

In his new role, Mark will oversee both grading and utilities. “I am truly excited about the continued growth and being in a position where I can mentor our younger employees and continue to foster continuity between Landmark’s divisions.”

Michael Tucker, Landmark’s Site Work Division Director, said, “We are very excited about the promotion of Mark Mitchum to the position of Site Work Division Manager.  Mark has been incredibly valuable to our team by driving success in various roles with Landmark throughout the years including Project Superintendent, Senior Project Superintendent, and Utilities Division Manager.  In Mark’s new role, he will be taking over leadership of all site work field operations; and we are confident this will lead to continued success for Landmark Construction.”
