Charleston, SC – August 28, 2024 – Landmark is excited to announce the promotion of Michael McGavin to the position of Utilities Manager.

Michael, after graduating from Charleston Southern University in 2018 with a BS in Business Administration, started his career as a corn and soybean farmer. He then joined Landmark in March of 2018 as a site work field engineer, before transitioning to the utilities division. Michael was promoted to foreman, then assistant superintendent, and then superintendent before being promoted to his new position.

In his new role, Michael will spend the majority of his time in the field. When asked what he is most looking forward to, Michael responded, “I am excited for the growth opportunity and to continue to learn about this business as a whole.”

Mark Mitchum, Landmark’s Site Work Division Manager, said, “His hard work, dedication, and exceptional skills have earned him this well-deserved recognition. I look forward to his continued contributions and leadership in this new role.”
