Charleston Trade Center 1A
Site Work | Concrete | Utilities | Industrial Maintenance
Landmark Construction was engaged to grade and build a 1 million+ square foot building pad on a 60-acre site at the Charleston Trade Center. Due to the low-lying nature of the area, the site was extremely wet, presenting significant grading challenges. Landmark used nearly 7,000 tons of soil cement to stabilize the site and bring it up to grade. In addition to grading work, Landmark was responsible for installing new domestic water and fire line loops, sanitary sewer systems, and storm drainage. The scope of work also included paving asphalt across the site, installing curbs and gutters, sidewalks, and site lighting conduit.
