Mercedes-Benz Vans, a division of Daimler, is establishing a new full van manufacturing operation on approximately 200 acres off Palmetto Commerce Parkway. The $500 million expansion includes a new body shop, paint shop, and assembly line. Landmark Construction was contracted to provide site work services, including erosion control, demolition, clearing and grubbing, grading, site concrete, storm drainage, water, and sanitary sewer installations. Landmark's efforts ensured the site was prepared to support the extensive infrastructure required for Mercedes-Benz's new manufacturing operations.
